Enrich Your Brain!

I kinda love books.
Like a lot.

When I was in elementary school, I recall my report cards addressed to my mother would have hand-written notes about my progress in school.  Most of the time, they were on the line of, "It's great that Katie has such a fond love for books, but she needs to not read during classwork activities."

When you look up after you finish a great book, it's bewildering how anything else other than the book exists that that current moment in time.

I know that reading book after book when I was younger helped me achieve a more creative mind, and it helped broaden my vocabulary.  At about the age of 15, I really slowed down in my book reading.  I had one summer where I chain-read books until I had to go back to school, however.  Of course, I read the Twilight series when it came out and it was popular in high school.  I must say, I still have yet to finish that series.  It was admittedly a pile of garbage, especially towards the end of the books.  Perhaps this is because I got older and realized that it was a predictable, poorly written pile of junk.  Well, Meyers is a decent writer.  She should discontinue her use of constant cliches and recycling her words numerous times in one page.  We get it, you like the adjective PERFECT.

Anyways!  I have compiled a list of books that I want to read.  I will add to the list and mark off the books as I finish them.  You can view this list at the top of this page in the navigation bar.

Perhaps you should get started on that list of books you've been wanting to read, ehhh? :D
